Ang tamang pamamaraan ng pag-aalaga ng sensitibong ngipin PDF Print E-mail


Ikaw ba ay nakaranas ng kirot habang umiinom ng malamig na softdrinks o kaya’y habang humihigop sa iyong paboritong mainit na sabaw o kape? Naluha ka na ba dahil sa kirot kapag ikaw ay kumagat sa iyong paboritong tsokolate? Kung ang sagot mo ay oo, may malaking posibilidad na ikaw ay dumaranas ng sensitibong ngipin!

Ano ang sanhi ng problemang ito? Ang problema ng sensitibong ngipin ay maaaring magmula sa maraming dahilan. Ito ay pwedeng madalas sanhi sa mga sumusunod na halimbawa:

  1. Di sinasadyang pagkagat sa isang matigas na bagay na nakapagdulot ng pagkabugbog ng gilagid o buto na sumusuporta sa ugat ng ngipin.
  2. Pagkabasag (fracture) at pagkasira (decay) ng “enamel” at “dentin” na parehong bumabalot sa pinaka-laman ng ngipin (Pulp: nerve at blood supply).
  3. Pagkapudpod ng ngipin lalo na sa may bandang gilagid sanhi ng di tamang pamamaraan ng pagsisipilyo at pati na rin sa pagka-hilig sa pag-inom o pagkain ng mga acidic o sobrang maaasim na inumin at pagkain.
  4. Sobrang pagdami ng “plaque”  o malagkit na dumi na puno ng bacteria na nakakapit sa ngipin.  Ang mga bacteria na ito ay naglalabas ng mga acido na nagdudulot ng pagkasira ng ngipin at pamamaga ng gilagid.

Para malutasan ang prolemang ito, makabubuti kung ikaw ay magpatingin sa iyong dentista para matuklasan kung ano ang bunga ng suliranin.  Bukod sa mga nabanggit sa itaas, marami pang pwedeng dahilan ng sobrang pangingilo at ang dentista lamang ang maaring makatuklas ng sanhi nito.

hindi ka pa nakakabisita sa dentista, maari mo munang sundin ang mga panukala sa ibaba:

  1. Ang pagsisipilyo at paggamit ng dental floss ay inirerekomenda na  tatlong (3) beses sa isang araw.  Ang mga ito ay makakatulong makaiwas sa pagdami ng plaque, ngunit kinakailangan pa rin magpalinis sa dentista ng kahit dalawang (2) beses man lamang sa isang taon.
  2. Kung sensitibo ang pudpod na bahagi ng ngipin malapit sa iyong gilagid, isang mabuting paraan upang malutasan ang problemang ito ay ang pag gamit ng desensitizing toothpaste na may mataas na fluoride content.  Ang produktong ito ay makakatulong sa pagbawas ng pangingilo.  Para hind maging grabe ang pagkapudpod, dapat gumamit ng sipilyong may “soft” bristles.  Huwag kalimutang itanong sa iyong dentista ang tamang pamamaraan ng pagsisipilyo at paggamit ng floss .
  3. Kung sobra ang pangingilo, umiwas sa sobrang dalas na paginom ng mga acidic na inumin katulad ng softdrinks, maaasim na juice at pati na rin mga sobrang maasim na pagkain at prutas.

Ang mga ito ay panandaliang makakatulong sa iyo, pero huwag palilibanin ang pag bisita sa dentista para mas mapaliwanag sa iyo at mabigyan ng tamang solusyon ang problemang ito.  Tandaan na kahit walang sumasakit sa ngipin mo, dapat ay makabisita ka sa dentista mo ng “minimum” na dalawang beses sa isang taon.
