To our MyDentSpace Members, please note of the following features that were added to our community website:

1.  Press releases and blogs are now more visible to visitors.  Take advantage by posting short news articles, dental healthcare tips etc... in order to lead visitors to your profile and therefore gain more exposure for your dental clinic, business, organization. 

How do you benefit from this?  Any content that you post will lead readers to your profile thru a "link:.  This will drive more traffic to your MyDentSpace.  If your website is indicated in your profile, then readers will have a chance to access it and therefore drive more traffic to it. 

The concept of a MyDentSpace Community includes helping members drive visitors from Pinoydental.com (now 7,000,000 to date) to their own clinic/business/organization website and not the other way around. 

 If you are a member, you can lead people to view information you want them to see in order to direct them to your own space in the internet.  Just make sure you don't have any links in your website that will direct them to us :) (that's perfectly ok with us)

After logging in just click the button at the upper right corner in order to access the blog article text box.

2. The front page now has Nested tabs arranged according to visitor categories. 

• Upper tab: contains content for the general public.  Note that press releases are positioned in this area so that the public may easily be able to access articles written by our mydentspace members
• Middle tab: contains feature content such as featured products.  Traders and businesses may take advantage of this by submitting product articles and photos that they want us to feature (paid service).  also included is the "Check me Out" category in classified ads (paid service) - If you want to inquire about these services, send message to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
• Lower Tab:  Contains Community Related content such as featured members, facebook community, forum links and dentist community related blogs.

3.   Comment System:  Below each article, you will notice that there now provisions for readers' comments.  These comments are moderated and therefore not all may be published.  Members may post comments when they're logged in but has an option to post as a visitor as well. (posts may be made in tagalog or english)

4.  The dentista portal {http://dentista.pinoydental.com) is now open for partner members.  This membership is tailored-fit for traders, labs and manufacturers.  With this membership they may be able to feature their company and their products thru promotions, articles, product listing in the catalogue, etc... email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for inquiries.

5. The mydentspace profile has an "Updates" tab that lets you post RSS (Really Simple Syndication) news feeds. 

• What are RSS feeds? This is a system wherein you can automatically let your website, blog, facebook page, etc... send excerpts of your news articles, announcements or content from your website to your mydentspace profile.
• How do you benefit from this?  The idea of feeds is to be able to send summaries of your content to other websites (to pinoydental.com in this case) with a link back to your website.  This will therefore drive more traffic/visitors to your own website.  Pinoydental has now currently 7 million visitors since we were up just a few years back, so take advantage of our visitor traffic to drive people to your website. Again, visitors who are able to directly go to your own site (without passing thru us) will not be directed to pinoydental.com but our visitors, on the other hand, will find a way to go to your webiste using this system.

• How do you set up RSS feeds? Almost all websites nowadays has this feature built in. 
• Usually, you will find it associate with this icon:
• "right-click" the icon in your blog/website and then click "copy shortcut" or "copy link"
• Just copy/paste the link location of your RSS feed to the "updates" tab in your mydentspace profile in edit mode and then don't forget to click "save"/"submit".

6. Reminder: Please take advantage of listing your clinic/business in our health directory for free.  Again, this is a free service.  The only paid option is when you include a link to your website (URL), email link, additional info (Mini webpage), additional categories, inclusion of your logo and thumbnail,  But if you opt not to include any of these, the service is absolutely free.  There are many "yellow pages-like" directories that charge a fee for basic inclusion in their directory, so take advantage of our free service instead.
